Service Description

Each week this class works on skills for teams preparing for the beginning stages of becoming a therapy team, teams getting ready to evaluate for therapy the first time and those teams brushing up on their skills to renew their evaluation . work on the skills that are covered by most therapy dog organizations. (We do not work on food on the floor exercises.) In this class, the skills we work on are obedience, petting by a crowd, sound distractions, medical equipment, all over petting, approaching people and people approaching, neutral dog distraction, taking a treat, grooming, etc., anything that would be involved during a visit.
